They say that if you pour Jello into drinking straws, let them set and then release them into a bowl, you get worms. Super creepy, realistic, disgusting worms.

We gave it a shot today. We got disgusting alright. Realistic? Realistic something....but worms? Not so much.

Boxes

We came home to two huge boxes on our front porch...the wedding gifts are arriving! The boys were so excited to open them, even though we warned them that wedding gifts can be terribly boring (for a 6 and 8 year old!) They were quick to agree upon discovering their contents...but were still thrilled with the large boxes.

...especially when emptied of their contents....

This one made a great safe spot for a puppy during a thunderstorm...

...this guy got to relax for a little bit this afternoon...rare happening these days!

Bananagrams

A dear friend of mine gave the whole family their own gifts for my bridal shower - makeup for mama, a grill brush for baba and games for the kiddos.

Matthew loves Banangrams. He's learning new vocabulary as he goes...

I've decided to move my 'office' off of the couch in the living room and into the office, next to my sweet fiance. I don't know if he knows this yet, and he may not be thrilled, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. This is kind of his man cave, and I'm really kind of intruding.
