Happy Easter!

We started out the day with a scavenger hunt that the E.B. set up for the boys. They loved reading clues and finding treasures. After breakfast, we went to a friend's house for an elaborate Easter Egg hunt. Matthew, by far, had the most eggs in his basket! After lunch, we went to NanaDee's to have dinner with family (and Seattle cousins!) and yet another egg/treasure hunt! Whew!

Muddy, cold, but not raining - Portland kids need to take advantage of the sunshine whenever it graces us with a visit.

Tastes Good

After school snack for the boys: Fruit salad in a waffle bowl.

Mike's request: Lasagna cupcakes. A huge hit with Mike and Andrew - not so much for Mom and Matthew.

My favorite: Dryer's Slow-Churned chocolate ice cream (with milk on top). Has to be eaten out of one of my hospital mugs.
