First Grade, Fourth Grade

I can't even believe it. My babies are growing and growing and growing. (Somebody make it stop!)

Matthew reads (in Spanish) to Baba from his spot in the 1st grade classroom:

First (and probably last) time riding the bus home from school. Matthew insisted, Andrew acquiesced. When they crossed the street, one said, "That took too long." The other one said, "It's loud on the bus. I have a headache." Mom says it's just easier to hop in the car and pick them up. Besides, I get to know the other parents and teachers that way.

Along with the first days of school come the first days of soccer. Both kiddos got awesome new cleats - Andrew's are metallic red and Matthew's are crazy bright green. Interestingly enough, Andrew's uniform is green and Matthew's is red. Maybe we should get our Christmas card photo while they're in uniform.

This post is a little Matthew-heavy, but he's cute, so I'll just throw this one last shot in for good measure.
